Concrete Technology Level 2




Program summary
This 3-day program is an extension of Concrete Technology Level 1 and is designed for people with increased responsibilities in the concrete industry.


Course details
Topics include : Cement QC & Mill Test Reports, SCM's beyond Fly Ash, Aggregate Gradation and Blending, Admixtures for Specific & Specialty Applications, Concrete QC & Interpreting Test Results, Mix Design Development, Curing Sealing & Concrete Restoration, ICF, Sustainability.

Registration Fee for Members ~ $425.00 + G.S.T.
Registration Fee for Non-Members ~ $675.00 + G.S.T.

Course Locations

The classroom sessions will be held virtually February 16th and 17th 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Thursday February18th from 8:00 am to Noon using Zoom Meeting. A meeting invitation will be sent closer to the course date. Please be sure to log on before 8:00 am Tuesday February 16th as we will need everyone on board by 8:00 in order to keep to our schedule.


The mix design trials will take place Thursday February 18th at 1:00 pm at Knelsen Sand and Gravel at 11211 Winterburn Rd Edmonton T5S 2B2

 * MUST wear safety boots, safety glasses

  & Hi-Viz (vest), a hard hat  and a mask.


If the weather is conducive we will try to hold this out of doors otherwise it will be held in their yellow wash bay in the centre of their fenced yard next to their offices and shop and all attendees should respect the 2 m distancing whenever possible.

No refunds will be issued. A credit for the course will be kept on file for one year. Substitutions are allowed.





In order to maintain 2 m spacing between individuals, we are limited to offer space to 13 people for this program for this date.

Our intention will be to run another session in early 2021 unless demand warrants offering something sooner.
